The Light Givers Humanitarian Foundation officially commissioned a two bedrooms bungalow built and donated to Mrs. Cecilia Egwutuoha, a 75 years old woman from Umuejimeke Akwa Ihiala Local Government Area in Anambra State of Nigeria. She got married in 1962 and gave birth to eight (8) children but it was quite unfortunate that seven (7) of the children died and she was left with just one surviving daughter.
She lost her husband in the year 2000 and he was buried on 31st January 2001, and since then life has been full of mysteries to her. She passed through tribulations, sufferings, difficulties and all manner of abuses and social disconnection by some of the community residents, upon the situation she was consistently asking God for mercy, she never gave up, she held unto the Lord believing that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. The situation was terrible that she was unable to source for food considering her age. No one came to her rescue and she was gradually losing it in all ramifications.
The most painful part of it was the day she was almost killed by one of the components of the house which fell on her while she was sleeping at night as a result of weak foundation but by God’s divine intervention, she survived it and the next morning she met with the Chairman of The Light Givers Humanitarian Foundation to solicit for help.
The Chairman of The Light Givers Humanitarian Foundation and six other members went to her house to confirm the authenticity of her story but it was very shocking and unbelievable to discover that even 70% of the roofs are wide opened and during rainy season she will still be under same condition if nothing is done. It was on that note that The Light Givers Humanitarian Foundation made an alternative arrangement for her to be transferred to another apartment in order to demolish and rebuild a well deserved two bedroom bungalow to improve her standard of living. The house was completely demolished on 9th November, 2020.
However, today being 23rd December, 2020 marks the official commissioning of the Two Bedrooms Bungalow built and donated to Mrs. Cecilia Egwutuoha in Umuejimeke Akwa in Ihiala Local Government Area Anambra State Nigeria. It was a moment of joy that changed the narratives of Mrs. Cecilia Egwutuoha and every all and sundry that attended the ceremony was filled with great enthusiasm. The Light Givers Humanitarian Foundation also placed her on Monthly salary to enable her sustains the economic situation of the country and also to take care of her needs.
