THE LIGHT GIVERS HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION has achieved a successful five weeks training of Women Empowerment Programme on Agriculture with a wonderful topic “Tomatoes and Importance of nursery in agriculture” that created a center of attraction during the course of the training.
The topic for the training is on Tomatoes and importance of Nursery in Agriculture. The training took place at St. Martin’s Catholic Church Ihiala, Ihiala Local Government Area Anambra State Nigeria, on 1st May 2021.
The interest shown on this topic by the BENEFICIARIES inspired and motivated the Trainer Mr. Chimazu Uwakwe to spend more time on Nursery production and Farm Management so as to prepare the women on how to plant Tomatoes in a large scale for commercial purpose. It was an extensive detailed learning encounter.
The Sixth week training comes up on 8th May, 2021 with the practical aspect of this programme where the BENEFICIARIES will be taken to the farm for real life experience on how to plant different seeds. However, this programme will come to an end on 26th June, 2021.
